Hino to Hold the "HINO Dream Truck & Bus Art Contest"

As one of its projects to commemorate the company's 70th anniversary, Hino Motors, Ltd. will be holding the "HINO Dream Truck & Bus Art Contest" with the objective of nurturing the dreams that children - leaders of the next generation - have for the future.

The contest aims to create an opportunity for children - through drawing pictures based on unfettered and unique ideas under the subject "The future car (truck and bus) of your dreams" - to develop their interest in trucks and buses that support our daily lives and further understand the joy and importance of having a dream.

Entries will be accepted from July 1 through August 31, 2012 (Entries must arrive by August 31). From among the entries, a total of 8 artworks will be awarded the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Prizes, as well as prizes of distinction.

The prizewinners of the 8 excellent artworks will be invited to attend an award ceremony to be held in October 2012 at Hino head office (Hino City, Tokyo Japan). Scheduled to be present at the award ceremony is one of the judges of this contest and Japanese astronaut Mamoru Mohri.

 

Outline of "HINO Dream Truck & Bus Art Contest"

Subject	"The future car (truck and bus) of your dreams"
Candidates	Below 6th grade
Application rules	a) Paper size : from 297 mm x 420 mm to 380 mm x 540 mm b) Painting rules : Must be in color (no black and white). Must be painted by hand (Computer graphics, 3D work, a cutwork, and collages are not allowed). c) Painting materials : paints, colored pencils, crayons, etc.
