- Company aims to enhance its Total Support system -

Hino Motors, Ltd. (Hino) aims to continue to be the brand of choice by contributing to its customers’ businesses through the provision of excellent products and services. To this end, the company is strengthening its Total Support system through a variety of initiatives at home and overseas. As part of these efforts, on February 14, Hino opened a test drive and seminar facility, the Hino Total Support Customer Center, for customers in Malaysia to strengthen its customer support capabilities in the country.

Hino has been sending staff to conduct Safety & Eco-cien Driver Training in Malaysia as a part of its customer support efforts. And in recent years, more and more Malaysian customers have been seeking to take part in training for avoiding accidents and reducing expenses. As requests for these types of seminars increased, Hino identified the need for a dedicated facility that could be used at any time, and determined to set up the Hino Total Support Customer Center as a seminar facility for providing integrated guidance ranging from lectures to practical driving exercises on the premises of Hino Motors Manufacturing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (HMMMY), Hino’s manufacturing subsidiary in Malaysia.

The Hino Total Support Customer Center features a kilometer-long dedicated test drive track, as well as facilities such as seminar rooms and an exhibit room where Hino’s history and technologies are on display. Also, taking advantage of its location on the premises of HMMMY, factory tours of HMMMY are included in the various seminars, giving visiting customers the opportunity to experience the Hino brand in its entirety, from production to after-sale services.

This is Hino’s first permanent test-drive and seminar facility to be opened overseas, and the company is committed to continuing to improve its facilities and seminar content to meet the needs of as many customers as possible.
