FY2010 Hino Green Fund Grant Recipients Finalized

The Hino Green Fund (HGF), established through a capital investment by Hino Motors, Ltd. has chosen the recipients for its FY 2010* grants, as well as the project contents.

Since its establishment in 1991, HGF’s “Green Grant Foundation” has supported a large variety of activities that have contributed to environmental conservation. As its cornerstone, HGF provides support to private organizations that promote greening activities for the immediate natural environment. Once a year, it invites applications* from the public, from whom it selects recipients for its grants.

This year, the grants are to be given to fourteen projects in a range of fields including among others, “greening activities” and “investigative research and enlightenment activities conducive to conservation of the natural environment.”

*Applications must be written in Japanese and activities are to be based in Japan.
