Hino Motors to Release Large-Sized Route Bus Hino Blue Ribbon Ⅱ

-in Compliance with New Long-Term Emission Regulations and Fuel Economy Standards of 2015-

Hino Motors, Ltd. (“Hino”) launches sales today of major models of the large-sized route bus Hino Blue Ribbon II in compliance with the New Long-Term Emission Regulations (2005). In addition, some of the new models being released have also achieved compliance with the Fuel Economy Standards of 2015.

The new models of the Hino Blue Ribbon II feature a reduction in PM emissions of more than 10% over the New Long-Term Emission Regulations made possible by the utilization of new model engines and PM removal device as well as outstanding low-emission performance through the acquisition of low-emission heavy-duty vehicle certification. Some of the models have furthermore achieved early compliance with the Fuel Economy Standards of 2015 for heavy-duty vehicles.

Hino will continue to provide customers with trucks and buses that satisfy their needs.
