Hino Motors releases medium-sized touring coach Hino Melpha, medium-sized route bus Hino Rainbow and small-sized bus Hino Liésse models compatible with the New Long-Term Emission Regulations

All vehicles compatible with the Low-Emission Heavy-Duty Vehicle standards of the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (10% reduction in 2005 standard level NOx and PM)

Hino Motors, Ltd.(Hino) is releasing models of the medium-sized touring coach Hino Melpha, medium-sized route bus Hino Rainbow and small-sized bus Hino Liésse series compatible with Japan’s New Long-Term Emission Standards of 2005 starting today in Japan.
The buses satisfy the New Long-Term Emission Standards made possible by further advancement in Hino’s own unique clean diesel system DPR*1 and are also compatible with the Low-Emission Heavy-Duty Vehicle standards of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (10% reduction in 2005 standard level NOx and PM) through a reduction in NOx (nitrogen oxides) and PM (particulate matter) of more than 10% over the regulation values thus realizing outstanding environmental performance.
Hino will continue to promote the development of trucks and buses that are in harmony with nature.
