Hino Motors releases small-sized bus HINO LIESSE Ⅱ models conforming to New Long-Term Emission Regulations
Hino Motors, Ltd. (Hino) has released as from today its small-sized bus HINO LIESSE Ⅱ models*1 to the Japanese market following successful compliance with Japan’s New Long-Term Emission Regulations of 2005.Two improvement technologies were applied to the models. Hino’s advanced clean diesel system DPR*2 was further improved to meet the New Long-Term Emission Regulations. NOx (nitrogen oxides) and PM (particulate matter) were reduced by more than 10% over the regulation values to meet Low Emission Heavy Duty Vehicle Standards of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (10% reduction in NOx and PM levels)*3. As a result, excellent environmental performances have been made possible with the models. In addition, marketability has been upgraded by renewing the front styling and by modifying seat surface design.
In parallel, Hino has released its LPG-fuelled vehicles conforming to the Low Emission Heavy Duty Vehicle Standards (10% reduction in NOx level).
Hino continues to provide its customers with useful busses and trucks which reduce the load on the global environment.
