Hino Motors starts operation of Hino Global Parts center

Enhance our organizational setup for spare parts supply as a scheme to reinforce our Total Support operations ―

Hino Motors, Ltd. (Head office: Hino city, Tokyo, President and CEO: Yoshio Shimo, hereafter referred to as "Hino") relocated the Ome parts center (Ome city, Tokyo), the global spare parts supply base, to start its operation today as the "Hino Global Parts Center" (Ome city, Tokyo). By reinforcing the supply system of spare parts, Hino will realize "Total Support customized for each vehicle", promising to maintain the best condition for each vehicle of our customers.

Hino is making efforts to "present speedy and highly-qualified maintenance" in order to realize "Total Support customized for each vehicle" held up in its "Challenge 2025". To achieve that goal, it is essential to streamline the supply system of spare parts considering the increasing numbers of units owned moving forward. Hino Global Parts Center, which newly started its operation, secures sufficient space to manage sales increase in the future, while reforming facilities, aiming at further shortening of the supply lead time of spare parts through the improvement in productivity and streamlining of logistics in the base.

Hino Global Parts Center is a low-rise building with a warehouse whose layout is improved to minimize the movement and congestion of delivering or shipping of parts. In addition, the introduction of cutting-edge technologies and automation of input work can improve the workability along with the nearly 5-times increase in the number of lanes for delivery and shipment of parts, enabling smoother acceptance and shipment of parts.

Moreover, Hino Global Parts Center has setup air conditioning equipment in the whole of the warehouse, installed a rest house exclusive for drivers and a cafeteria annexed to a lounge utilized also for meetings as our positive efforts to improve the level of satisfaction among drivers of delivery companies and workers in the base.

First of all, Hino Global Parts Center starts with the shipment of spare parts for markets abroad, gradually targeting also the Japanese market before its full operation scheduled in August. Hino will make the center more effective to evolve it continuously as the foundation of Hino's Total Support.

Under the slogan of "Trucks and buses that do more", Hino focuses on the Three Directions of "Provide best-fit products incorporating safety and environmental technologies", "Total Support customized for each vehicle", and "New activity areas". Hino will always try to respond intensively to the various needs of customers to continue presenting these values to customers and society.
