-For the eleventh consecutive time in the heavy-duty truck segment and the sixth consecutive time in the light-duty truck segment-
Hino Motors, Ltd. (Hereafter "Hino." HQ: Hino City, Tokyo. President & CEO: Yoshio Shimo) ranked first place in the 2019 Japan Heavy-Duty and Light-Duty Truck Ownership Satisfaction Studies (Wave 2) run by J.D. Power Japan, Inc. (Hereafter " J.D. Power." HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo.
Representative Director: Kouji Yamamoto), a global expert in customer satisfaction (CS) surveys and consulting. Hino has been ranked first in the heavy-duty truck segment for eleven consecutive years and in the light-duty truck segment for six consecutive years.
Run once every year, this J.D. Power study examines owner satisfaction in Japanese truck freight companies around the nation. Satisfaction is calculated by examining owners' evaluations of four satisfaction factors: vehicle, after-sales service, sales, and cost.
Hino received top overall scores based on these owner satisfaction factors in both the heavy-duty and light-duty truck segments.According to J.D. Power, with new innovations in the logistics business receiving increased attention, truck owners with high overall satisfaction tend to consider their truck manufacturer as a logistics solution partner that supports their business, and high customer satisfaction leads to business growth and loyalty.
With "trucks and buses that do more" as its slogan, Hino strives to provide both best-fit vehicles and Total Support in after-sales services and beyond for our customers. Through the three major aims of delivering "best-fit products incorporating safety and environmental technologies," providing "Total Support customized for each vehicle," and "pursuing challenges in new areas," we will keep challenging ourselves to help every customer as the ideal logistics solution partner.
