ARCHION Corporation (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President & Chief Executive Officer: Karl Deppen, hereinafter "ARCHION") and Commercial Japan Partnership Technologies Corporation (Head office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroki Nakajima: hereinafter "CJPT") are pleased to announce that ARCHION will be joining CJPT. ARCHION's participation in CJPT will replace that of Hino Motors, Ltd. (Headquarters: Hino City, Tokyo; President and CEO: Satyakam Arya, hereinafter "Hino") in connection with the business integration of Hino and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (Headquarters: Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President and CEO: Franziska Cusumano, hereinafter "Mitsubishi Fuso").

CJPT was established with the aim of addressing logistics challenges through collaboration among like-minded companies. In cooperation with participating companies, local governments, logistics operators, and infrastructure providers, it promotes initiatives in areas such as electrification and logistics efficiency for commercial vehicles. Under its mission of "Together, we deliver transportation that connects people and goods for a brighter tomorrow," ARCHION shares CJPT's vision of accelerating the social implementation of CASE technologies to help solve transportation challenges and contribute to the realization of a carbon-neutral society, and will participate in CJPT based on this shared commitment.

Under its new structure following the business integration of Hino and Mitsubishi Fuso, ARCHION aims to address transportation challenges and realize sustainable transport by leveraging the R&D, production, and sales foundations cultivated by both companies over many years in the commercial vehicle sector, as well as their two strong brands. By integrating the technologies and expertise of both companies in CASE domains, including zero-emission technologies such as hydrogen, as well as connectivity and autonomous driving technologies, ARCHION is advancing efforts to address key logistics challenges such as driver shortages and the carbon neutrality of logistics. By leveraging these strengths, ARCHION will further accelerate its initiatives toward achieving carbon neutrality in the commercial sector and building sustainable logistics, through collaboration with fellow CJPT members.
