Viewing the management of the health of its employees and other members from a corporate management standpoint, Hino Motors, Ltd. (Hereafter "Hino." HQ: Hino, Tokyo. President & CEO: Yoshio Shimo), has established its "Hino Motors Health Declaration" to ensure the strategic implementation of "Health-Oriented Corporate Management※."
In order to provide our customers and societies with these values on an ongoing basis, Hino gives full attention to the health conditions of all of its employees, and strives to build a company where employees are able to stay healthy both physically and mentally through ongoing flexible and in-depth support.

The health of Hino Motors employees around the world and their families who support them is a major factor that can be considered as a foundation and asset in expanding all our businesses.

■Support systems for maintaining health
We have install an individual consultation desk where counseling services are provided by industrial physicians and/or contracted counselors, install a toll-free telephone consultation desk run by specialized institutions, and ensure that systems for early detection and early care for individuals experiencing mental difficulties―enabled by support activities carried out by workplace counselors―are enhanced on an ongoing basis.
■Examples of health initiatives
Improving mental health: Improvements to working environments through stress checks, mental health education, and a workplace counselor system, etc.
Improving physical health: Conduct checkup analyses to ensure early detection and early care for persons with potential health problems, and implement visit-based health education classes, etc.
