Hino Motors, Ltd. has recently become aware that there are people using the names of Hino Motors, our affiliates and/or their officers or employees without permission in phone calls, e-mails or otherwise to fraudulently get victims to transfer money to them.
The actual case is that these people have been using the names of our officers or employees of Hino Motors to finally engage in fraudulent activities through asking for answers by e-mail regarding the contents of money transfers and through repeated dialogue.
As Hino Motors and our affiliates have no relationship whatsoever with such fraudulent activities, please beware of and take appropriate steps to guard against any such fraudulent activities, including by checking the sender's e-mail address and the identity of any entity or person who is engaging in activities involving solicitation.
